1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using FlareX ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use FlareX.

2. Purpose and Operational Scope

FlareX functions as a mobile graphical user interface (GUI) wrapper that connects directly to the public REST APIs made available by Cloudflare, Inc. (api.cloudflare.com).

• The App allows you to view DNS records, review security statistics, purge cache, and adjust permitted zone parameters directly from your mobile device.
• FlareX does not host your websites, execute DNS routing, or maintain any intermediary server between you and Cloudflare.

3. Cloudflare Terms of Service Requirement

Because FlareX interfaces directly with your Cloudflare account, your use of Cloudflare's underlying platform remains strictly governed by Cloudflare’s own legal agreements.

4. API Credentials and User Responsibility

FlareX requires authentication credentials (such as Cloudflare API Tokens or Global Keys) to communicate with your account:

• Local Custody: All authentication tokens are stored locally on your device within secured sandbox storage and are never uploaded or transmitted to Ankrypt.
• Token Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and safety of your API tokens and your device.
• Recommended Practice: We strongly encourage you to generate custom scoped API Tokens with strictly minimal permissions (e.g. Zone:Read, DNS:Edit) rather than using unrestricted Global API keys.
• Account Actions: Any DNS modifications, cache purges, security rule adjustments, or account configurations performed via FlareX are executed using your credentials under your instruction. Ankrypt is not liable for inadvertent changes, service outages, or configuration errors performed through the app.

5. License & Acceptable Use

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use FlareX on your personal devices. You agree not to:

• Decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the binary package of the App, except to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
• Use FlareX to conduct automated stress tests, malicious attacks, or unauthorized penetration testing against Cloudflare's infrastructure.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially sublicense the App without prior written consent from Ankrypt.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

FLAREX IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ANKRYPT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE FREE FROM BUGS, ERRORS, OR INTERRUPTIONS, OR THAT CLOUDFLARE'S API WILL ALWAYS BE ACCESSIBLE, UNCHANGED, OR COMPATIBLE WITH THE APPLICATION VERSION INSTALLED ON YOUR DEVICE.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Ankrypt or its authors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of revenue, loss of data, DNS downtime, site inaccessibility, or business interruption) arising in any way from your use of FlareX, misconfiguration of your Cloudflare zones, or third-party API changes.

8. Termination

You may terminate this agreement at any time simply by deleting FlareX and revoking your API Tokens from your Cloudflare profile. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue updates, maintenance, or availability of the App at our discretion.

9. Amendments to Terms

We may revise these Terms as necessary. The most recent version will always be published on this page. Your continued use of FlareX following the publication of changes constitutes your agreement to such changes.
